Hi Claude. I'm not sure from that description. The only thing the installer may need is the Microsoft .net 4.6.1 framework. This comes by default with Windows 10 but may need to be installed for earlier versions of Windows. Saying that, the installer should detect this and ask if you wish to download and install this. Which version of Windows are you running? Also the install process (and PhotoVidShow) should not need anything different than running the previous version 4.4.1. Link to download and install .net 4.6.1 www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=49981Also could try downloading and installing the vc_redist.x86 (make sure x86 version from visual studio 2017) from here support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloadsFailing that, it also may be worth temporarily turning off any anti-malware software you may have running as they can sometimes interfere with installations. Let us know how you get on.
