I can encode and burn a DVD-Video ok but when i select to burn a previously encoded project the program hangs.
Can you help?

When you select ‘burn a previously encoded project’ it launches the ‘DVD video burner’ tool. For some reason it sounds like this is not working on your machine?
An alternative, without using this tool, is to select the next option ‘Burn a video folder from the harddrive’
Then select the yellow folder icon on the right and browse to your project. I.e. ‘MyDocuments/PhotoVidShow/Authored/ProjectName’
It will allow you to select this if the project was previously encoded and still contains the DVD image (i.e. contains the VIDEO_TS folder)
Then select ‘Next’ Then ‘Create’ to re-burn it.
Alternatively to launch the ‘DVD video burner’ tool in another way.
either:-
- Select Tools->Launch DVD/Blu-ray burner tool from top of main PhotoVidShow editor window
or
- Select Windows Start button –> File explorer –> then navigate and run ‘c:\program files (x86)\PhotoVidShow\DVD video burner.exe’
Hope something here of help

The ‘Burn a video folder from the harddrive’ selection works but neither of the suggested alternatives worked.

Glad you able to get something working. The burner tool (which is a separate app) doesn’t work on your machine for unknown reasons. As hinted, you don’t actually need it anyway once you understand that other way of doing things.
