Hi Stuart!
I have been using your Photovidshow software for a good few years now, and a great little program it is too. I now want to convert Videos so that I can play them on my domestic DVD player similar to the DVD slide shows I've created. However there is a different need. I have bought [region 1] DVDs only to find I cannot play them. I converted one of them to play on my PC, but need the Audio/Video DVD burner to create the disk to burn the Audio/Video DVD. Have you a program upgrade for my Photovidshow program? and the upgrade cost. Perhaps you can advise please..........
Chris

Sorry, PhotoVidShow can not convert a brought Region1 dvd to a region free dvd such that it will play on any player because of legal reasons.
PhotoVidShow can, though, burn a VIDEO_TS folder from your hard-drive as a region free DVD
So.... rip the region 1 DVD onto your hard-drive. This should produce a folder called VIDEO_TS containing .VOB, .BUP & .IFO files etc. This is basically the DVD-Video file system containing video and menus. There are programs on the net that can do this rip process.
You can then burn this VIDEO_TS folder (as a region free DVD-Video) with either our product or any other product that does a similar job. The burnt DVD should then play fine on your normal DVD player.
Thank you for your compliments,
Stuart
