Are your source video files interlaced? By default PhotoVidShow does not handle interlace video and so the output video can look distorted. Wavy distorted lines. See video link here about this kind of problem www.youtube.com/watch?v=YczLRshnxQ8Solution method 1: The simplest solution is to convert (de-interlace) your source video using a tool called AviDemux. And then import the de-interlaced video into PhotoVidShow. Avidemux is a free useful video converter tool. Download and install from here (Windows 64 bit) avidemux.sourceforge.net/ See tutorial here on how to deinterlace video using Avidemux write.flossmanuals.net/avidemux/deinterlacing-video/

Method 2: Make sure you are running PhotoVidShow version 4.5.3 and onwards. It is also possible to configure PhotoVidShow to do the de-interlacing for you. The settings for this are not available from the PhotoVidShow editor but can be done by downloading some additional software. Download and start the install process for LAVFilters 0.74.1 from our website here www.photovidshow.com/install/LAVFilters-0.74.1-Installer.exeIn the install process on the last setup page select 'Open Lav Video Configuration' In the configuration screen set the de-interlacing from "no software deinterlacing" to "Weston three field simple" and apply Then restart PhotoVidShow. PhotoVidShow should now de-interlace any interlaced video when creating output videos. You can also change the video configuration settings later by selecting 'Lav filters -> Lav video configuration' from the Windows start menu.
